GoBlock USA LLC is excited to announce the up and coming launch of their first Ethereum dApp – PickFlix – www.pickflix.co. PickFlix is the next evolution in Ethereum games which allows players to immerse themselves into the world of movies.
PickFlix utilizes a market prediction platform where you play the role of a Movie Producer, and compete on the box office results of widely released movies. PickFlix has a variety of ways to play – from predicting opening weekend results, to predicting box office results over a longer duration, to predicting results within a genre of movies. The player purchases token(s) – representing a redeemable contract – for each movie(s) they believe will provide the best payback. The more tokens purchased for a movie by all players, the better the movie will need to do at the box office to generate a positive payback. Once box office results are in, the contract will calculate a Redemption Value for each token that corresponds with the percentage of box office revenue versus other movies in the same game.
