April 19-21st in San Mateo Draper University hosted its very first public hackathon. In conjunction with our Spring 2019 Hero Training we had many people from all around the world compete to build the future of gaming and entertainment using QTUM.
Thank you to everyone who came! We had an amazing weekend, great projects and teamwork, and an amazing surprises. Special thanks to our Sickick. We had many projects implement his brand in aims of reshaping the entertainment industry.
We had many exciting projects come out of the hackathon listed below:

2nd Place was Sickick Run:
Sickick.Run is a free to play browser based game which is built by and for fans of Sickick the artist. The game’s rewards you to “play against fear” and is powered by Qtum’s Blockchain network. The winning team plans to create an ecosystem of similar games in the future where in game rewards and currency can be traded and used in other different games.
3rd Place was Music Story:
Music Story is a decentralized donation platform for musicians with 100% transparency. It also offers a unique immersive music listening experience for users to connect with musicians in a much deeper level.
Thanks again to everyone who participated. It was an extraordinary experience and we look forward to hosting our next hackathon coming up this summer.
